Eligibility & Team Rules

• Eligibility: Open to students pursuing B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.S or related Engineering Programs from ALL Engineering Colleges in India (Batch 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028).
• Team Composition: Teams must consist of 1 to 3 members.
• Cross-Specialization: Teams can be formed with members from different specializations and academic years.
• Cross-Campus Teams: Allowed.
• Batch 2024: Not eligible.
• Specialization: Participants from any specialization can join.
• One Team Rule: A person can only be a member of one team.
• Disqualification: Any deviation from the above rules will result in immediate disqualification.

Competition Stages

The Software Development Track consists of three elimination levels, culminating in a National Finale where finalists present their solutions to Flipkart's domain experts.

Level 1 - E-Commerce & Tech Quiz

• Format: Online quiz.
• Participation: Mandatory for all team members.
• Scoring: Based on the average marks of team members.
• Ranking: Based on Accuracy + Speed (Time Taken) + Start Time.
• Content: E-Commerce Trivia (Reference: Flipkart Stories) and Tech (Technology Awareness, Tech Stack, and Computer Science Fundamentals).
• Advancement: Teams progress based on their performance.

Level 2 - Submission Round

• Participants: Shortlisted teams from Level 1.
• Task: Submit solutions for a preferred problem statement.
• Submission Requirements: Functional proof of concept, demo video, and code submission.
• Advancement: Teams move to the next level based on their performance.

Level 3 - The National Finale

• Finale: Finalists present their solutions to Flipkart’s domain experts.
