We, at Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd., (GACL) engaged in the buisness of industrial chemical products are committed for enhancing customer satisfaction and continual improvement in our QHSE Management Systems and Performance.
To achieve this, we Commit ourselves to
- comply with all applicable legislation and other requirements to which we subscribe
- Conserve natural resources in perticular water, Air, Solid, energy and raw materials and promote the development of green surroundings
- Incorporate suitable techniques for qulity improvment, prevention of injury, ill health and pollution
- Eliminate, minimize or control the environmentals aspects as well as occupational health and safety hazards and risks
- Provide high degree of safety promotion and encourage safe behavior amoung all
- proactively monitor the incidents,unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, hygiene as well as promptly report and act on such conditions
- Comply with procedure with all discipline and hold every one accountable for their responsibility
- Strengthen awerness, skill and competence of employees and contracts' workmen and also foster dialogue with vendors, customer and community
- Periodically review the adeuacy, suitable and effectiveness of QHSE Management System

General Terms and conditions for all advertised positions:
Recruitment for the advertised positions is for a long-term contract.
For the Executive Trainee position, the suitable and competent candidate
would be offered a 6-year contract. For all other positions, the
suitable and competent candidate would be offered a 5-year contract. The
contract shall be extendable for a similar term at the same or higher
level based upon satisfactory performance and management’s discretion.
Candidates with experience in the heavy chemical, fertilizer, or
petrochemical industries will be given preference.
Candidates should have full-time qualifications at the required level in
the respective discipline.

General Information:
There are a total of 13 levels in the Management category (M 0 being the
highest).
For the Management Category positions, the four-year promotion cycle
starts on July 1 of the respective year. The high performers may be
considered for promotion upon completion of three years of service.
