The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for the success of all assigned projects and works within a cross-functional team across the organization.

Your responsibilities

Demonstrate knowledge in advanced high-end CAD software Creo.
Experience in CAD automation and parametric modeling would be an advantage.
Exposure to Product data management (PDM)/ Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool Windchill
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), Tolerance Stack up Analysis, Design for Assembly and Manufacturing.
Evaluates, selects and applies standard techniques and procedures while preparing manufacturing & assembly drawings
Bill of materials preparation, manufacturing & assembly drawing.
As a part of the job, shall effectively interact and coordinate with Product owners, Suppliers & Engineering teams located globally

Your background

B.E. (Mechanical)
Working in the engineering of electrical products such as transformers, Insulators, Bushings
Working Experience with 3D modeling for complex assembly and production using tools like CREO (3 to 5 years) is a must
Drafting & Detailing (2D) experience is a must
Experience in handling projects in PLM/PDM.
Knowledge of relevant international standards (ANSI, ASME)
